Van Gogh: Painting with Flowers at NYBG where the garden blossoms into a vibrant tribute to the Dutch Master. See botanical displays of Van Gogh's works inc. ,lawn filled w/ towering Sunflowers and other masterpieces displayed in living blooms.
You may bring your lunch or purchase food at the cafe. Lovely picnic area to relax and enjoy.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
People going to Botanical Gardens Trip on May 27th should be in Guardian Angels church parking lot 8:15 a.m. to begin check in and boarding. If they need upfront seating, they should let Karen or Carol know before the day of trip. Bus leaves parking lot at 8:45 a.m. Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Directions: From the Elks parking lot make a left onto Old Post Road. Pass Shop Rite. At the traffic light on Rt. 1, cross over and continue down Old Post Road (road bends to the right) until you see Pacific Street and turn right. First Left is Market Street, where you will turn into the lot. Park in the rear of the lot.
OR
Woodbridge Avenue to Market Street (lock & key shop on corner). As you come down the street you will see the church on your left. Go into the lot and park in the rear of the lot.
